HOA & Community Cleanup Events
Dumpster Days That Make the Neighborhood Better
Give residents an easy way to clear bulky junk, keep the community cleaner, and create a visible HOA benefit—with staffed cleanup events or weekend roll-off dumpsters.
A good HOA Dumpster Day does more than remove junk. It gives residents a convenient service they can actually use, helps reduce bulky items and unwanted dumping around the neighborhood, improves curb appeal, and gives the association a visible way to show value. Mountain Goat Junk Co. can run the cleanup for you or simply provide the roll-off dumpsters.

How It Works
Simple 4-Step Process
Choose Your Cleanup Style
Pick a staffed three-hour Community Dumpster Day or a self-service roll-off Dumpster Weekend. We'll help you match the format to the size of your community and expected turnout.
Choose Capacity & Date
The staffed package includes 30 cubic yards. For self-service events, choose one or more 20- or 30-yard roll-offs. Saturday mornings are ideal for staffed events; weekend roll-offs are typically Friday through Monday.
Tell the Neighborhood
Your HOA sets resident eligibility, check-in, participation fees, load limits, and event rules. We provide the disposal guidelines so residents know what they can and cannot bring.
We Handle the Junk
For staffed events, we help unload, monitor materials, separate recyclable metal when practical, and haul everything away when the event ends. For self-service events, we coordinate delivery and pickup of the roll-offs.
Why Host an HOA or Community Dumpster Day?
A neighborhood cleanup event is one of the simplest ways an HOA can create a benefit residents immediately understand.
Give Residents Real Value
Bulky household items are inconvenient and expensive for residents to dispose of one at a time. A centralized HOA Dumpster Day gives the whole neighborhood an easy opportunity to clear garages, basements, patios, and storage areas without every homeowner arranging separate junk removal.
Keep the Community Cleaner
Making disposal easy can help keep unwanted furniture and bulky junk out of alleys, common areas, open spaces, community trash enclosures, and other places where it does not belong. Cleaner common spaces improve curb appeal and make the neighborhood better for everyone.
Show Residents Where Their HOA Dues Go
Residents do not always see a direct benefit from every HOA expense. A community cleanup day is different: homeowners can see it, use it, and appreciate it. That makes Dumpster Day a practical annual or semiannual member benefit.
Offset the Cost—or Build a Fundraiser Around It
Your HOA controls how participation works. Some communities include the event for dues-paying members. Others charge a small fee per vehicle or load, charge nonmembers, or bring in a local sponsor.
Depending on participation and how the event is structured, those fees can help offset the cost of the cleanup and may generate additional money for other neighborhood projects.
Mountain Goat handles the junk. Your association stays in control of membership, check-in, and community finances.
Staffed Community Dumpster Day
Our staffed option is designed for communities that want the cleanup handled in a few hours instead of leaving dumpsters unattended for an entire weekend.
We arrive with two trucks, two 15-yard dump trailers, and two crew members, giving the community 30 cubic yards of capacity.
Residents bring unwanted items to the designated collection area. Our crew helps unload vehicles, keeps the area organized, monitors what goes into the trailers, and separates eligible metal items for recycling whenever practical.
When the event ends, the trailers leave with us.
At noon, we’re gone—and so is the junk.
That means no dumpster sitting in the neighborhood waiting for pickup, no after-hours dumping window, and no board members wrestling couches into a container.
Self-Service Dumpster Weekend
For larger communities, higher expected volume, or neighborhoods that want residents to participate over multiple days, traditional roll-offs may be the better fit.
A typical event is delivered Friday and picked up Monday. Your HOA decides when residents may use the dumpsters and handles access or monitoring.
Order one dumpster or several:
20-yard roll-off — $449 each
Up to 4 tons included.
30-yard roll-off — $499 each
Up to 5 tons included.
Two 30-yard dumpsters provide 60 cubic yards for $998. Three provide 90 cubic yards for $1,497. Larger events can be built with additional containers as needed, subject to availability.
Our standard roll-off pricing includes up to 14 days, so if your community needs a slightly different delivery or pickup schedule, we can usually work within the normal rental window.
Which Format Is Right for Your Community?
Choose a Staffed Community Dumpster Day when you want a short, controlled event, unloading assistance, material monitoring, metal separation, and immediate haul-away.
Choose a Self-Service Dumpster Weekend when you expect more material, need multiple large containers, want residents to participate over several days, and have someone from the community who can monitor access.
Not sure? Tell us approximately how many homes are in the neighborhood, whether you have held a cleanup before, and what turnout you expect. We’ll help you choose a practical starting point.

Questions
Frequently Asked
How much does an HOA Dumpster Day cost?
Our staffed Community Dumpster Day is $1,395 and includes 30 cubic yards of capacity, two 15-yard dump trailers, two crew members, three hours of event staffing, unloading assistance, hauling, and disposal. Self-service roll-off options start at $449 for a 20-yard dumpster or $499 for a 30-yard dumpster.
What is included in the staffed Community Dumpster Day?
We arrive with two trucks, two 15-yard dump trailers, and two crew members for a three-hour event, typically 9 AM to noon. Residents bring items to the collection point, we help unload, monitor accepted materials, separate eligible metal for recycling when practical, and haul everything away when the event ends.
Can our HOA charge residents to participate?
Yes. Your HOA or community decides who can participate and whether the event is included for members, requires a resident fee, charges nonmembers, or uses another system. Those fees can help offset the event cost and may create additional funds for other community projects. Mountain Goat does not manage resident eligibility or collect those community fees unless specifically arranged.
Who checks whether someone is a resident or HOA member?
The HOA or community provides someone to handle check-in, residency or membership verification, passes, wristbands, or any participation fees. Mountain Goat focuses on the disposal operation and keeps the unloading area moving.
Why choose a staffed event instead of leaving a dumpster all weekend?
A staffed event gives residents help unloading, keeps someone on site to monitor accepted materials, reduces the opportunity for after-hours or unauthorized dumping, and removes the junk immediately when the event ends. At noon, we're gone—and so is the junk.
Do you recycle anything during the event?
During staffed Community Dumpster Days, we identify and separate eligible metal items whenever practical so they can be diverted from the general waste stream. We do not claim that every recyclable item will be separated or diverted.
How many roll-off dumpsters can we order for a community event?
You can order one or multiple 20-yard or 30-yard roll-offs, subject to availability. For example, two 30-yard dumpsters provide 60 cubic yards for $998, while three provide 90 cubic yards for $1,497.
What time is a staffed Dumpster Day?
Our standard staffed event window is three hours, typically 9 AM to noon on a Saturday. Other times may be available depending on the date and location.
What can residents bring?
Typical accepted items include furniture, mattresses, household clutter, toys, recreation equipment, appliances, eligible yard debris, and small amounts of approved remodeling debris. Special or restricted items should be discussed before the event.
What can't go in the dumpsters?
Hazardous or regulated materials are not accepted. Tires, paint, automotive fluids, large electronics, and refrigerant-containing appliances require advance notice and may involve additional handling or disposal charges. Asbestos, hazardous chemicals, medical or biohazardous waste, unsafe overfilled loads, and dense materials such as concrete or dirt without prior approval are prohibited.
