Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. If you don't see what you're looking for, give us a call.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the SW Denver Metro area including Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Morrison, Sedalia, and surrounding communities. If you're not sure whether you're in our service area, give us a call and we'll let you know.

How does pricing work?

We provide upfront, transparent pricing based on the volume of material and type of items being removed. No hidden fees, no surprises. For most jobs, we can give you a quote over the phone or via photos. For larger or more complex projects, we'll schedule a free on-site estimate.

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes, we offer same-day service when our schedule allows. Call us in the morning and we'll do our best to get you on the schedule that day. For guaranteed timing, we recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance.

What's the difference between full-service junk removal and DIY trailer drop-off?

With full-service junk removal, our crew handles everything—loading, hauling, and disposal. You point, we lift. With DIY trailer drop-off, we drop a trailer at your location, you load it on your own schedule, and we come back to haul it away. The DIY option is great for contractors or homeowners who want to save on labor costs.

What items do you accept?

We take most household items, furniture, appliances, construction debris, yard waste, and general junk. There are a few things we can't take, including hazardous materials, chemicals, paint, asbestos, and certain electronics. If you're unsure about a specific item, just ask.

What happens to my stuff after you take it?

We follow a responsible disposal process: donation first, recycling second, landfill last. Items in good condition go to local charities and donation centers. Recyclable materials like metal, cardboard, and electronics are taken to appropriate facilities. Only what can't be reused or recycled goes to the landfill.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, Mountain Goat Junk Co. is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance to protect your property and our team during every job.

Do you work with contractors and property managers?

Absolutely. We work with contractors, property managers, landlords, realtors, and HOAs regularly. We understand the pace and demands of commercial work—we show up on time, communicate clearly, and handle disposal logistics so you can focus on your projects.

How do I get a quote?

You can request a quote by calling or texting us at 303-565-7408, emailing [email protected], or filling out the form on our website. For most jobs, we can provide an estimate based on a description and photos. Larger projects may require a quick on-site visit.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for active military, veterans, and first responders as a thank you for your service. Just let us know when you request your quote.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us as much notice as possible. We're flexible and will work with you to find a time that works.

Do I need to be home during the job?

Not necessarily. For many jobs, you can give us access instructions and we'll handle it while you're away. We'll send you photos when the job is complete. For on-site estimates or if you prefer to be present, we're happy to work around your schedule.
